A Decade

*Forgive the pictures, I don't have the best scanner ;) Look how skinny I was!!! And Bry has hair ;) I can't believe that at midnight tonight 2010 will arrive! A new decade, where has the time gone? I remember watching MTV which played party like it's 1999 all day ten years ago when we brought in the millennium! Bry was on his mission in Sydney, so at this point he already knew there wasn't going to be the big catastrophe that everyone was waiting for :) Life changes so much in a decade! I became Dance Company President, watched America be attacked on our own soil, graduated High School, became a Pharmacy Technician, took out my endowments, got married, had my first baby, bought our first home, Bry went back to school several times, had my second baby, bought our second home, and I started my own business! When you look at it like that it's so crazy!!!! Look what was important to me at the beginning of the ten years, now I don't have time to dance, I leave that to Kylie! I know the next ten years will bring even more change! I have many goals I want to reach personally and as a family! I should have a Pharmacist as a husband, and a teenager almost in high school by that point!!!! LOL.... wow, I'll be old ;) I will be 36 with an almost teenager, you can tell Bry and I got married young, well I was young ;) Hopefully we will all make it without to many bumps and bruises to speak of! I hope you all have a great time bringing in a new year, and a new decade :) Happy New Year!

Um..... I need to get into shape!

Yes, Kattrina is going to attempt to get going with a work out regiment again!!! It is so hard to get motivated sometimes! Not to mention I don't love waking up too early and if I do it when my kids are awake, Ethan won't seem to leave me alone!!!! He is attached to my hip right now! He follows me where ever I go and wants to help (which really means to destroy everything I am doing). I also really need to eat better, which usually means more expensive grocery bills! Why does food that is good for you cost more than the junk? I really need to get going on this and start my new year right :) Bry is going to supposedly do it too, hopefully we can both stay motivated and can both actually lose some weight and get in shape!

Another Christmas Gone By

I can't believe it's all over, and half of my family is sick :( Bry and Ethan have had a little bug! Bry puked once and Ethan twice. My kids ask me if Santa is coming again and I keep telling them they have a whole other year to wait!!! I am usually disappointed that Christmas is over, but honestly I am a little glad it is. I am really looking forward to the spring and all the up and coming things it is bringing. I have already had people start booking for March and April, and we are going to Disneyland in May!!! We are all very excited about that :) My best friend is prego with baby number three and we are planning a super fun baby photo shoot! I can't wait to try some of the cool things I have been itching to do :) I need to get in shape and feel better about my whole body image though, I have really let myself go! Yikes, I don't even have an excuse! January is just around the bend and I have everything planned for my new website and prophoto blog, and now with all my Christmas money I can do it!!!! I am so excited :) I can't wait for the new year and the things it will bring, bring it on 2010! P.S. I already started taking down my Christmas decor! My house looks bare!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas!!! This was our Christmas card this year, that really got out way too late and to not as many people as I had hoped ;( We have just been busy bees around here and ran out of much needed time. 2009 was a pretty good year for us! Bryan has been busy with school and work, and that doesn't look to change for many years ahead! He did lose 13lbs this year though, and has decided it's not so bad for you wife to dress you and make you look nice ;) This year has seriously been a great one for me! If you had told me Bryan's present of my camera last Christmas would have a brought my own business with it, I would have told you you were batty!!! I never dreamed I would ever be able to do something on my own time that is so fulfilling. I love everything about my new career path! I love taking pictures and enjoy editing them just as much, I honestly feel so blessed to have this oppurtunity for myself and my family. Kylie has grown so much this past year and really has to be one of the sweetest and most talkative kids you'll ever meet. She is loving dance and has turned into quite the little singer :) She memorizes and sings us songs all day long, we love it!!! Ethan has really become a struggle, and I am hoping he'll grow out of it; well I'm praying he will! Our family wishes you and yours a Merry Christmas, and hopes you all are looking forward to 2010 as much as we are!!!

The Twelfth Day Of Christmas

It's here!!! Christmas Eve and our Twelfth and final day of our Christmas countdown :) Tonight we did our traditional opening of Christmas jammies, and added a new cozy friend to sleep with too! Kylie got the sassiest purple groovy girl puppy. Then Ethan got a soft fuzzy dinosaur to cuddle up with. I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas, I don't know where the month has gone!!! I hope everyone sleeps well, and has a very Merry Christmas!!!

The Eleventh Day Of Christmas

Okay so for our eleventh day of Christmas, we finally got to go see Disney's new animated film!!!! The Princess and the Frog was great!!!! I loved the message and am still humming some of the tunes in my head! Ethan was an angel and watched the whole movie, and Kylie was great too :) Couldn't have asked for a better night!!!

The Tenth Day Of Christmas

Um... so Daddy kind of changed our plans on us for the tenth day of Christmas. We were supposed to go see The Princess and the Frog, but instead watch BYU whomp on Oregon State!!!! I guess it's okay, I would have been mad if we had stayed home and they had lost though!! Go Cougars, and Happy Holidays :)

The Ninth Day Of Christmas

Today we played some games, and made more cookies for friends and neighbors! Yikes, we have really had to do a lot of gifts this year! We also got some time in our schedule for this little lady to work her new hat! Isn't she adorable??? She also loves to take pictures, which is always a treat for me ;)

The Eighth Day Of Christmas

The Greatest Gift Ever Given, Merry Christmas...............

The Seventh Day Of Christmas

Today I got all our treats out to our friends and neighbors! I was up super late finishing cookies and truffles :) I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The Sixth Day Of Christmas

Yesterday for our sixth day of Christmas we went downtown to see some holiday lights! Lily, Jake, and Jenn came over for some dinner and went with us. I have to say I am in no hurry to go back! It was so overly crowded you couldn't even enjoy the pretty lights. I might try the zoo lights or something else next year. The picture of Lily is her underneath my Christmas tree :) I was testing my iso at 1600 to see how much grain I got, I have to say my camera performed really good for that high of an iso :)

On The Fifth Day Of Christmas

Here comes Santa Claus, so Ethan run and hide ;) It went pretty much as I had expected it to..... Kylie hopped right up their gave him her list with confirmation that she would get all she wanted on Christmas morning if she was good! Bry took Ethan up there and he freaked out and ran for his life! Kylie keeps telling us that now Ethan won't be getting anything for Christmas :) The mall was really crowded for a Thursday and Bry was so irritated it seemed with everything. He didn't pick out one thing for Christmas, he told me he would just give me a list and send me next week with his sizes! He really doesn't enjoy the Christmas season much anymore, I guess that is what happens when you are at work till midnight, and have ornery people to deal with all of the time. He had a guy try to return a printer he bought 18 months ago come in and chew him out that Best Buy wouldn't return it, it was also out of HP's warranty too. Bry was fine with him till he started cussing and dropping F bombs at him. I am so glad I don't have to deal with the public in that way anymore. I love my clients, they have all been great!

The Fourth Day Of Christmas

Today was a Bah Humbug day by me! Here is the long story :) We had planned on going to see Santa with Lily, Jake, and Jenn, but Lily wouldn't wake up after her long flight (jet lag). So Jake called me at like ten to four, so we set out on our own. I got to South Towne at like 4:15 only to find out that Santa was taking a break till 5:15, so we went to look around. I got some new shoes (actually 3 pairs) and Ethan threw an absolute conniption fit, the kind where everyone in the store is looking at you like you SUCK at being a Mom. The kid can throw an awesome tantrum, but my philosophy is to ignore him. He was on the floor kicking and screaming, telling me he HATES me! I swear this kid may be the death of me, well I told him I was leaving him there to find a new Mom who he doesn't hate, at which point he clung to my leg screaming NO, I love you....... I was going to just go home at that point, but Kylie was being so good and she started to cry when I told her Santa was going to be a no go. Ethan promised me he would be good, and we went to get in line about 20 minutes before Santa was off break. Yes, well the line at that point was like the one you see on A Christmas Story, it was all the way into JCPenney. Needless to say, when the lady told me it was a two hour wait, I was gone. Bry said he would go with me before work tomorrow. Kylie told me she must go, or Santa will not know what she wants for Christmas and may bring her boy stuff :) She is the only reason I am going back, and Ethan minds Bryan for some reason. I honestly have tried everything with this kid, even if you swat his bum he just comes back swinging! I am not sure if I can have another child, I would only be able to do it if Heavenly Father promised me one with the Kylie temperament not Ethan's.

The Third Day Of Christmas

Yep, day three of our countdown is here. We went to IHOP for some hot chocolate and breakfast food, but ended up with OJ. Probably since we need all the vitamin C we can muster before Christmas :) Our good friends Alison, Eoughan, and Ethan came with us and the kids had a blast ;) Tomorrow is the big day with Santa, and the kids can hardly wait. They are ready to tell him exactly what they are wishing for and hopefully Ethan won't chicken out! Merry Christmas only 10 days to go ;)

The Second Day Of Christmas

Today was our second day on our countdown, and we went to Gardner Village! We went to roam around and see all of the Christmas elves. We went with our good friends: Mary, Jack, and little Anna. We had some treats and even got sung to by a man straight out of A Christmas Carol. He sang Jingle Bells with the kids who basically just stared at him like he was nuts! Thanks for coming with us Mary, we had a great time!

The First Day Of Christmas

On our first day of Christmas we came home from church and settled in for some classic holiday movies. Charlie Brown is one of my all time favorites! When I was a kid my favorite was Cabbage Patch Christmas, however, I'll probably never see it again since it was recorded on some ratty old VCR tape and I don't know where my Mom put it. Loved it though ;) I also love A Christmas Story, it is definitely a classic for us! Well one event down, 11 more to go! Merry Christmas.

And so it begins......

Tomorrow starts are big kickoff for our 12 Days of Christmas! The kids and I are really excited :) We have had to make a few adjustments, because some people wanted to be involved in our activities :) The more the merrier right?? The kids are especially looking forward to going out for cocoa, seeing Santa (Jenn, Jake, and Lily are coming to that one), and making holiday goodies! Not to mention getting closer and closer to the big event!

Two Turtle Doves

These are my two little stinkers! I really wanted some pictures out in the snow, but it was so freezing they made it like two seconds. Kylie's one outside is one of my faves. I love sunflare and how beautiful pictures with sunshine can be, if you can just find the right situation :) I also love the new black and whites! I can finally say after much practice that I like the look of these black and whites and have my system down! Now if I can just get that way with my colors! I am a perfectionist and know exactly what I want, now just practice, practice, practice till I master it! I love my job, I never thought I could be so lucky! Can't wait to see what next year brings!

Christmas Traditions

Okay ever since I was a little kid we got to choose and ornament every year. We could always choose whatever we liked, with no restrictions (besides the one at the store choice imposes on you). Bry and I have kept this tradition ever since we met! Our first Christmas together he gave me one of Minnie and Mickey kissing in front of a fireplace :) Every year on every one's box I write the year and how old the person is, so we can look back and see our pick from that year! I love looking back at mine to see where my mind was when I was eight! This year Kylie and Ethan went back and fourth between a few, but above are their final picks. Kylie went with a Barbie, and Ethan went with Batman! Total girl and total boy at our house! Bry's is Santa sitting at the ESPN desk (his has been sports themed every single year). Mine is a candy Santa in a candy speed boat (I always choose the cute ones that are really colorful or sparkly). Some people don't like to have hokey ornaments on their trees, but I love my family tree! It tells a story and fits everyone in the family.

HP6

It seems like yesterday we were out in cheesy homemade t-shirts heading out for a fun night of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Yet, today we headed to Best Buy to add the movie to our collection! Kylie was extra excited since she fell asleep during the end of the movie. We haven't watched it yet, but will be soon!!! I know have my full collection in Blu Ray too!!! They had a sell and all of them were only $10 a piece :) Totally worth it, you should see the difference in the color and detail! Now I'm turning into Bry and should be doing commercials for electronics :)

Last Christmas

This is the new favorite Christmas tune playing around our home this year. Of course the song isn't new, but Kylie sing the Ashley Tisdale version every chance she can gets! We also enjoy Taylor Swifts rendition. Kylie is a pretty good little singer too, she can definitely hold a tune, I am interested to see if she might have a bit of a talent with it when she is older. Anyways, we are having fun and listening to Christmas tunes at our house no matter who's singing them ;)

Um..... yah.......

Well I missed a day already, I am a terrible every day blogger ;( I am not in a good mood lately, and I seem to feel annoyed with everyone. I hope to get out of this little bout soon, don't want to ruin the holiday for my kids and myself!!! I need to do a lot better at letting things roll off my back I have decided. I am sick and tired of trying to make everyone happy, and then still end up being the bad guy, so I'm giving up!!! I sticking to the people who like me for who I am and getting rid of the extra baggage. The term do unto others as they have done unto you, is sounding really smart about now too! My efforts are going towards those whom I love and enjoy being with, and friends who are real friends. Everyone else can take a hike as far as I am concerned at the moment. Sorry about my little rant, but this is my journal and I think I deserve one a little now and then ;)

A Way To This Woman's Heart

If you know the real Kattrina, you know I have a love for a certain candy! Which is that, well Cotton Candy of course :) I always have to get some at the theater, it is so yummy and I could eat it all the time. I am the weirdo at Walmart buying a bunch when they actually have it! But what some might not know is my love is twofold! I have a love for another candy that is just as strong, if not sometimes stronger because you can't get the really good kind all year long...... I LOVE DIVINITY!!!!! I try to watch my self because I could probably go buy some and eat the whole lot in a half hour :) Both of my Grandma's are really great at making it, and it's not easy!!! I must get the art of it down before they are no longer here to share it with me. If you haven't had it, you must try it! However, I will warn you that it is an acquired taste...... Bry thinks I have the oddest favorite candies ever. What can I say, I am one of a kind ;)

The National Debt Road Trip

I love road trips, but not this one! Happy 3rd day of December, doesn't the future just look fantastic??

Stress Case

Yes, a stress case would describe me about now! I have so much to get done and I am trying to tread water. If anybody asks one more thing of me though, I may fall under the tide awaiting to consume me! To make it even better, Ethan got a hold of my Bose headphones (faves of mine) and broke the whole ear piece off; for the LOVE!!! That kid has my heart racing all day long lately! I also have been slowly buying the sassiest outfits for family pictures, that I have no idea how I will even make happen. I just really want some family pictures I can be proud of. It is so frustrating to not be able to take pictures of my family all together with me behind the lens!!! And the photographer I would love to hire costs more than my mortgage, so fat chance that is going to happen :( If anyone out there can take photos, and will do it exactly as I tell them, with my camera, my settings, and with me constantly checking! Then please let me know :) I know I'm not picky at all!! LOL.. what can I say! I have never LOVED a photo with me in it, and I don't ever plan on it. You know I don't even know if anyone reads my blog anymore, but if you do I'm sorry for this second day of December little rant!

Welcome December

Um.. Welcome December! The Christmas countdown has begun and I think I'll try to post something nearly every day if I can. So today I'll do our monthly update :) Bry is busy with school, and has just thrown all his last minute photography class assignments on me. He seriously has not paid any attention the entire semester and just comes home and tells me what his assignment is and when it needs to be done by! As if I'm not crazy busy trying to get all of my sessions edited, and trust me I am a little behind :( I am staying busy, but cut back quite a bit for the month of December, I am looking forward to a bit of a break! I also am gearing up for the big wedding on January 4th! So excited, anxious, and everything piled into one about that! Just breathe ;) I also looked in the mirror the other day and was a bit disgusted with myself. So yes, I may be the only person during the holidays who is attempting to diet! What can I say, I love a challenge ;) Our Thanksgiving was pretty peaceful. We went to my Mom's and it was just them, us, and my little brother Jason and his girlfriend Tela. We had fun, and got schooled in some pictionary (not our game). Kylie is just about the same! She is so funny, and I am wondering if a field of cooking or something may be in her future. One of her favorite shows that I record for her is Ace of Cakes! If she sees I am watching the Today show in the morning or Studio 5 or something she asks when the cooking segements will be on, and not to change it to a kid show until she watches those. Um.. is she 5 or 25? Ethan, wow he is just a stubborn little terd! Yep, I said it! My kids have come accustomed to me shouting, "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!" When he does something bad now, he also tells me that he was just teasing! Yep, that's my boy! He also has become quite the jealous little bug on Monday's when Lily is here. He asks me to hold him all day, or when I sit on the floor to entertain the baby, he sits right in between me and Lily. I asked him yesterday if we should have a baby like Lily, and he said NO, NO BABY!! Bry is happy to have someone on his side! Well that was a mouthful, December here we come :)

Twelve Days Of Christmas

I have decided to start a tradition of doing the Twelve Days Of Christmas with my kiddos. We had such a fun time doing it last year, and hope this year will be just as fun :) Here is a list of our activities, which are always subject to change due to unexpected circumstances. Dec. 13th- On the first day of Christmas we will be sitting down to some Christmas classics and enjoying some good quality time on the couch ;) Dec. 14th- On the second day of Christmas we will be going to visit dear old Santa and telling him all about our special holiday wishes! Dec. 16th- On the fourth day of Christmas we will be to see some Christmas magic and elves at Gardner Village! We will definitely be stopping off at the sweet shop for some yummy treats :) Dec. 17th- On the fifth day of Christmas we will be making some ooey gooey treats of our own, to share and eat! Dec. 18th- On the sixth day of Christmas we will be heading out into the cold to deliver Christmas gifts to all of our dear friends! Dec. 19th- On the seventh day of Christmas we will set out in the cold to visit some Christmas lights and other fun holiday displays. Dec. 20th- On the eighth day of Christmas we will be taking some time out of the craziness the holiday brings to read the story of Jesus's birth and share the true meaning of Christmas with the kids. Dec. 21st- On the ninth day of Christmas we will just be staying at home and doing a fun craft and playing a little holiday game. Dec. 22nd- On the tenth day of Christmas we will be going out to see The Princess and the Frog (Kylie is thrilled for this day) Dec. 23rd- On the eleventh day of Christmas we are getting ready for Santa by making him some yummy Christmas cookies for when he makes his stop at our house! Dec. 24th- On the twelfth day of Christmas the kids will be getting a special gift of warm and cozy Christmas PJ's! Then we'll tuck them in bed and wait for the prancing and pawing of reindeer hooves :) I hope everything can run smoothly and we can have a great holiday full of fun and lots of time together :) I hope your holiday season is magical and full of the fabulous Christmas spirit!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Oh where has the year gone?? I can't believe it's already Thanksgiving. I have so much to be thankful for! I am so thankful for my beautiful family and all the joy and laughter they bring to my life. I am so thankful for being blessed with the opportunities I have had this year. I never expected to ever be starting my own business let alone have thought I would in photography! I have always loved it, but never could have dreamed I would have a job that I love. I am thankful to all my family and friends, and really many complete strangers to making dreams a reality! I am thankful to a Mom who is always there no matter what my need is, you are truly an amazing Mom, Grandma, and just all around special person! I am thankful for health, even though we haven't been to healthy this month ;) Bry's Dad has had a lot of bad news this year with his, but finally got some good news and we are so happy for him! Thanks to all my dear friends who help me to laugh and enjoy the less serious things in life. I love you all, and hope you have a great Thanksgiving. I am grateful for the opportunity to watch my little niece Lily every week. I have never felt so close to one of my nieces or nephews probably due to the fact that I don't get to see them very often. But little Lily reminds me that I am not ready to say I'm done and know that eventually (well when I can convince my husband) that someone is waiting to join our family. I am grateful for my Dad!!! I did not marry a handy man whatsoever (sorry Bry), so I am so happy I have my Dad who helps take care of me when I need help with cars and home improvement! Last of all I am so thankful for so many things, but I don't tell one person enough how grateful I am for their heavy load! Bry I know it's hard on us that we never see you, but I know it's even harder for you to be working so hard on school and then going to a job that I know you don't love. Thanks for working so hard to make our lives much better, I appreciate all that you do! So Happy Thanksgiving to you all, and STUFF YOURSELVES SILLY!

Up All Night

Bry and I have both been up all night :( Ethan has croupe, and it is the worst case I have ever experienced!!! He can barely even breath, I was so worried the whole night that he would stop breathing. Poor little guy, I think we deserve a break from sickness in this family :(

Sniffles, Sneezes, and Just Plain Sick

Okay, November has been rough on this household!!!! Yikes, I think we deserve a month off with no sickness :( I started off the month with a lovely sinus infection mixed with some brochitis! Then Bry got a respritory infection, I seriously slept on the couch for 4 days straight and then Bry got a turn ;) About a week after being on my antibiotic my sore throat came back, and then I woke up today with my throat throbbing and so swollen. Then I felt Kylie and she and I were off to instacare again!!! Yikes, the doctor said their was nothing I could do except take some ibuprofen, but that Kylie could possibly have swine flu (she got her first dose of the shot Wednesday, this always happens to her). However, he says it hits you fast and that her symptoms were probably as bad as they were going to get. Yes well this evening she threw up all over the couch, and ten minutes after that the power went out! Yikes today was not our best day for sure :( Hopefully we can all get some much needed rest and be on our feet in time for Thanksgiving! Cross your fingers for us!!!

Visions Of Sugar Plumbs

I don't know about you guys, but we are definitely jumping the gun and getting so excited about Christmas at our house!!!! I love the sights, sounds, and smells the Christmas season brings!!! I can't wait to put up the tree next Friday!!! I have started putting just about everything else up! It's not that I don't love Thanksgiving, I really do, but I just REALLY love Christmas and the fun colors and decor to work with ;) I can't wait to do the Twelve Days of Christmas with my kids again, if really makes the countdown more fun around here!!! So as for us visions of sugar plumbs are dancing in our heads!

Happy 5th Birthday Kylie

Today five years ago, I was finally delivering our first beautiful baby at 8:20 am. After 54 hours of labor she graced us with her presence!! At my very first sight of her she stuck her tongue out at me as they laid her on my belly, and it was love at first site! I can't believe it's been five years already!!! Kylie was always a really good baby and is a great kid too! She woke up today to open her first Just Like Me American Girl doll, and has been carting it around everywhere she goes! It was from both us and my Mom and she got some pretty sassy clothes too! Her Grandma and Papa Holt gave her a Liv doll with an extra wig, and she loves it! We went out to dinner Saturday, and are just chilling at home today since she has dance tonight and Lily will be with us! We love you Kylie Sue, and hope you have a great year of being 5!!!

Update

Okay it's November and time for a monthly update on our rather dull lives ;) Bry is at school and work all the time as usual! His work has also started their holiday hours already so now they don't close till 10, so basically we give each other a glance at best everyday! I have been sick to start this month off! I hate being sick :( I just don't have down time for it right now! I am once again fully booked this month. It's a bit crazy really, even when I get booked I seem to find ways to keep squeezing more people in. Once I feel like I'm getting a grip on all my editing I'm taking more pictures that will need to be edited! It's a never ending cycle. I am planning on giving myself a bit of a break in December though! I am also looking forward to Kylie's birthday and of course New Moon this month!!!!! Yay :) Oh, and some yummy Thanksgiving dinner at my Mom's this year :) Nobody can ever out do your own Mom's food. Kylie is counting down the days till she'll be FIVE, I know it's scary how fast time flies!!!! She has been on fall break at preschool, but goes back on Tuesday. She is also busy at dance learning her new routine which has something do to with french maids ;) Oh!!! my favorite from her was on Halloween. She came home from trick or treating and Eoughan was carrying her treats for her. I told her that's the way to do it, get the boys to do all the manual labor! She leans over to me and says, "I know it's like he's my servant!" HA, HA, HA....... I LOVED IT!!!! That's my girl :) Ethan is really in a rotten stage right now! He throws major temper tantrums over just about anything. If Santa really had a naughty list he'd for sure be on it. He is just like those naughty kids you see on TV! When I ask him why he did something he says he was just teasing! Yikes :( I will threaten to throw toys out and he will walk it over to the trash and throw it out himself! Nothing works with this kid!!!! I repeatedly tell him that Heavenly Father made him so cute, just to offset the naughtiness that would come with him. Well if anyone is still reading it may be a miracle, but have a great November just the same ;)

Jessica Sprague is fabulous, and I just wanted to share her free holiday class with everyone! I took one of her classes at the beginning of the year when I didn't even know how to do diddly squat in photo shop! I loved it and now love learning and messing around in photoshop almost every day :) So if you want to have some fun and take a freebie, sign up tomorrow!

Party Girl

Okay we went out and took some FUN photos for Kylie's 5th Birthday that will be here in just a few weeks. There were so many cute ones, and I posted more on my photo blog and my facebook fan page! She is so cute, I love her so much!

26

I really hate pictures of myself..... I don't know why I even attempt any! Yep, I'm now officially over the hump and on my way to the 30 yard line ;) I am 26 today, but it doesn't feel like my birthday! When you get old and are a parent life just doesn't seem to revolve around you anymore, and that's okay with me. Bry took me shopping last Wednesday for some birthday goodies, and we also went out to dinner and a movie with some friends Friday night. The best present was probably just having him home the entire week (last week). Today he is gone to school and work for the whole day, I am babysitting my niece, and Kylie has dance tonight. So basically it's just like any other Monday. Well, I did buy me a small birthday cake :) Can't wait to see what another year brings.
