A Day You'll Never Forget!
Okay so this post is mostly for journal purposes, I want to be able to look back and recall this one day :) So my Sunday started out with me getting to watch my first official temple dedication! In the afternoon Bry headed off to work and we headed up to hang out at my parents house. My Dad decided it would be fun to take their side by side four wheeler out for a ride up the tracks line to Day Break Lake and show me around the backside of things. Well as we are driving along the back side of the lake my Dad decided to take up through this quite large water hole (as my Mom was telling him not to!). Well you can guess what happened next, we were stuck! This wasn't normal dirt or mud either it was more like quick sand! When you started to sink you started to sink fast!!! Well after several attempts of trying to get out and dig out my Dad decided to walk back to the house and get his truck to pull it out! By the way daybreak is at 11400 south and my parents is at 9400 south!!! Well he left and the we were stuck there by ourselves to wait. We were not far from the fence to the back tip of Day Break Lake, so I broke in and we went and soaked our feet off the dock on the lake. My Mom had her cell phone so she called one of their neighbors who came up and made it back about the same time as my Dad (about 1 1/2 later) This is where it gets even more fun! My Dad back his truck down the hill, onto dry dirt, and what happens the moment his wheels start to turn? Oh yes, the truck sank!!! Yes, in dry dirt no mud the truck sank to above his wheels!!! He was not too thrilled, the only person who was is Ethan he thought this whole experience was the coolest thing ever!!! Well after a few hours a lot of dirt, digging, and a dented tail gate, we were able to get both vehicles out of their dirt baths!!! Yikes, I will never forget this day!!! I'm sure my Dad won't either, because his little excursion will now be costing him a new tail gate! ( I should mention that he only replaced it from being dented a little while ago, then it happens again!!)

What do you think?? Keepers?
I know you've seen this one of Kylie in my last post, but I had to do them together! These are the two photos I have chosen for my personal Christmas cards for this year! I usually wouldn't do this so early, but I had already got the shot of Kylie for samples of the photo cards I'm selling on my photography site. What do you think? Are they keepers for our cards this Christmas?
