Wishing everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!! Hopefully it is pinch free ;)
Yes, ladies and gents she's done it! She can now count one to fifty without too much trouble! Kylie is excited about learning and doesn't want to stop!!! She can't wait till she can read and says she is going to read all her books :) She has really been practicing her dance and cartwheels and gets better every day! I am so proud of her! My favorite is watching her color where (if she decides to take her time) she outlines each section then colors it in! She really is so good at it! I love her so much and can't wait to see what she accomplishes next... you Go Kylie Bug!
Okay, so I know this is about a month late, but I wanted to write it for journaling purposes!! Ethan got his big boy bed last month and is loving it!!! I thought the transition would be harder with him, mainly because he's so defiant, but I have been pleasantly surprised! He only had two days of uncertainty, and has been sleeping soundly ever since. Even better I can go lay him down and he doesn't fight me one bit. Sometimes during nap time he plays in his room for about a half hour until he decides to sleep, but he eventually lays down and goes to bed so I have no complaints! It is nice having the crib put away, but now I have to give a little more thought to putting the finishing touches on his little sports arena ;)
Have you ever met my little guy Ethan? Sure, a lot of you think you have met him, but he hides his true colors to most ;) He is difficult to some it up. He hits (especially Kylie), throws tantrums, throws food, breaks crayons, writes on walls, and much much more. He also does not care for dicipline! Time out is a huge struggle, he just will not stay. Getting sent to his room work if you don't mind him kicking the door, or destroying his room. He doesn't care if you even give him a spank, he comes at you hitting afterward. Yes, I have found my challenging child. I can't even get him to sit still for a picture... the kid is "hell on wheels," to put it lightly! Yet, I still love him so much. Everyone is always telling me how cute they think he is, oh yes, he's cute but you don't know the Ethan I know!
I finally caved and bought a pettiskirt for Kylie! They are beautiful, and are great for photos. We recieved it today and she wanted to take some pics in it right away. They didn't turn out the greatest, but we plan on going out when it is warmer and doing an official shoot in it! Plus Kylie has been sick with some yucky eye crap and a cold so she doesn't have her normal color :( Stay tuned and we'll bring you some much better shots with this beautiful girl in her beautiful skirt!
The title says it all! My daughter is always up for taking pictures, and has now been asking to take more photos! Yes, maybe she'll be 5'11" super model one day! She lets me dress her however I please, which is nice! She even let me adorn her with a third legwarmer as a headband, I love it! She is spunky, bright eyed, and makes the best facial expressions. Thanks Kylie for letting use you as my little muse, I love you!
This is the after pic with a texture added to it. It is easier to see the difference if you double click on the images and make them big ;) The reason I posted this random thing is for my husband, who I think is visually challenged. First of all after I edit photo's he says he doesn't see the difference. Then I add a texture and he can't tell??? Come on Bry are you in LA LA Land??? Mr. 20/20 vision my foot! Anyways, anytime I do photos now I have to show him the before and after so that he can really see the difference. How would he like it if I said "BYU/UTAH, what's the difference, they are both Utah colleges! Shouldn't we support them just the same!" That could cause divorce ;)
